Leadership Programmes

Student Council

The Student Council at K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, offers a dynamic platform for fostering leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Members—including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Heads, House Captains, Prefects, and members of the Editorial Board—play an active role in organising events, promoting school values, and representing student interests. It is a space where students learn to lead by example, collaborate across teams, and contribute meaningfully to the school’s culture.

Model United Nations (MUNs)

Enables students to participate in simulations of UN assemblies, developing public speaking, negotiation, diplomacy, and a global perspective.

TED-Ed Studet Talks

Students are empowered to develop public speaking skills by researching, scripting, and delivering impactful talks. The programme enhances confidence, critical thinking, persuasive communication, and provides students with a platform to express ideas that matter to them.

Scouts and Guides

At K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, the Scouts and Guides programme lays the foundation for leadership in the early years. NCC

NCC is a platform to groom the youth of the country to be disciplined, responsible, and patriotic citizens. It provides exposure to cadets in a wide range of activities with a distinct emphasis on military training, social services, and adventure training. At K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, NCC provides students (cadets) with opportunities to participate in a range of activities, including:

Drill and Parade Training – to build discipline and confidence
Physical Fitness – regular exercise, sports, and adventure activities
Social Service – participating in community development, cleanliness drives, and awareness campaigns
Adventure Camps – trekking, rock climbing, and obstacle training

NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government-sponsored public service programme launched in 1969. It aims to develop the personality of students through community service and social work.
At KRMVP, NSS encourages students to:

Karo Sambhav

Making recycling a part of daily life.

The Karo Sambhav Recycling Initiative, conducted at K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, was a comprehensive programme aimed at promoting responsible e-waste management and sustainability practices among students, teachers, and the wider community. The initiative aligned with the school’s mission to foster environmental awareness and contribute to a cleaner and greener future. Through this initiative, recycling has become part of daily life. Karo Sambhav also operates under Mission LiFE, a government initiative promoting sustainability.

RiarPro Learning Solution Private Ltd

In partnership with RiarPro Learning Solution Private Limited, K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, has established a dedicated Career Guidance Unit on campus. This collaboration brings specialised expertise in career counselling, profile building, skill development, and internships. This proactive approach enables students to set clear goals, make strategic choices, and ultimately achieve success in their chosen careers.
