Brazil UN SDG Conference (2023)
The school’s active participation in the British Council’s Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) Programme exemplifies its commitment to global education. The School has earned the British Council’s ISA/IDS Award for three consecutive terms (2010–2013, 2014–2016, 2020–2023), recognising its sustained efforts in embedding international perspectives in education.
Indo - Australian Exchange programme (2019)
K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, conducted an international exchange programme with Trinity Lutheran College, Queensland, Australia. This collaboration provided students and educators with opportunities to engage in project-based learning, virtual interactions, and cultural exchange. The programme included academic discussions, classroom sessions, cultural presentations, and visits to historical and educational sites, fostering international understanding, critical thinking, and mutual respect.
Travel to Switzerland for Global Exchange (2019)
As part of its mission to nurture globally aware and responsible learners, K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, participated in the Swiss–Indian Classroom Exchange Programme with Neue Kantonsschule Aarau, Switzerland. Students collaborated with their Swiss counterparts on a joint academic project, gaining valuable insights into the Swiss education system, culture, and daily life.
French Exchange programme (2017)
K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, organised a cultural exchange programme with Lycée Ozanam, Lille, France. As part of the programme, French students visited India and stayed with host families while participating in classroom activities, cultural workshops, heritage tours, and collaborative projects. The initiative provided students from both countries with opportunities to explore each other’s cultures, languages, and educational systems, thereby strengthening cross-cultural understanding.
Exchange with Hindi Sanstha, USA (2017)
K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, organised a cultural exchange programme with Hindi USA Sanstha, United States. This collaboration brought together students from both countries to celebrate shared values of language, heritage, and cultural diversity. The initiative provided students with a platform to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen their connection to Hindi and Indian culture despite geographical distance. The programme fostered cross-border friendship, pride in heritage, and a spirit of global unity.
Cultural Exchange Programme with Saaleschule, Germany (2017)
K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, collaborated with Saaleschule, Halle, Germany, to conduct a cultural exchange programme. The initiative provided students from both institutions with a platform to engage in collaborative learning, cultural exploration, and international friendship. The partnership reinforced the school’s vision of nurturing global citizens with strong cultural roots, making the experience both enriching and transformative.
NASA VISIT Educational Trip to USA – A Journey Beyond Classrooms (2013, 2016,2019)
To promote experiential learning beyond the classroom, K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, organised educational trips to the United States, including visits to the East Coast and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. These visits provided students with a unique opportunity to witness scientific innovation first-hand and left them inspired by the possibilities of space exploration. In addition to academic enrichment, the trips encouraged independence, responsibility, teamwork, and global awareness, making them transformative learning experiences.
