Disaster Management

K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, remains committed to cultivating a culture of safety and preparedness through comprehensive disaster management education. In collaboration with the Fire Department, Janakpuri, the school conducts intensive Fire Safety Drills to sensitise students and staff to various fire hazards. Staff members are also trained in the strategic use of fire-fighting equipment and emergency protocols.

Complementing this, an Earthquake Preparedness Programme is organised, featuring expert-led sessions and simulation drills. Students actively engage in learning critical response strategies, such as “Drop, Cover, and Hold On,” fostering a calm and informed approach to seismic emergencies.
