Celebrated 75th Republic Day
K. R. Mangalam World School marked the 75th Republic Day with a special assembly celebrating the Constitution of India presented by students of class VIII D and VIII F on 24th January 2024.
The show started with enactment by students on the partition of India and how it led to our freedom and drafting of the Indian Constitution. The solo song performance on the heart wrenching song “Teri mitti mein miljaava” was beautifully rendered.
Students also showcased the life of Dr B R Ambedkar in a skit, enlightening the audience about the discrimination faced at his young age and the brilliance which overcame & outshone all hurdles. The students went on to enumerate about the features of the Indian Constitution which was well-spoken by the students. The assembly culminated with a mesmerizing dance performed by the girls which uplifted the feeling of patriotism.
The Principal, Priya Arora ma’am, appreciated the efforts of the students in presenting the life of Dr.B R Ambedkar and the drafting of the Indian Constitution. The assembly culminated with the vote of thanks followed by the students singing in the glory of the nation.
