On 26th April 2024, as a part of educational trip, an industrial visit, was organized for the students of grade XI of K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikas Puri. The students visited the Parle G factory at Bahadurgar, one of India’s most iconic biscuit manufacturing units. The objective was to provide the students with practical insights into the manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and business operations that contribute to the success of a beloved brand.

 

The students were given a comprehensive tour of the factory, where they observed the various stages of biscuit production, from mixing the dough to packaging the final product. They learned about the stringent quality control checks that ensure the consistency and safety of the biscuits enjoyed by millions.

 

The visit to the Parle G factory was an enriching experience for the students, providing them with valuable exposure to the functioning of a successful business. It highlighted the relevance of their academic curriculum and its application in a real-world context.
