K.R. MANGALAM WORLD SCHOOL, VIKASPURI REPORT-WORKSHOP ON SCREEN ADDICTION

“Excessive device use leads to changes in a child’s brain that can negatively impact all areas of their life.” To inculcate awareness on effects of screen addiction, KRM Vikaspuri conducted a workshop on Screen Addiction in association with Anon Global foundation for Classes I –III on 27th September in the school auditorium to make students aware about the effects, this addiction has on their overall growth and development. Primary Coordinator Ms. Ranjana Popli felicitated the guest speaker Ms. Arti Girdhar, a philanthropist and educationist. This workshop was designed to educate children to make wise choices and understand the consequences of social media. During this workshop, the impact of screen addiction on the mental health and well-being of students was presented and discussed with demonstrations. It was an interactive session wherein students were awarded with a small token for their active participation
