K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, celebrated its 15 th edition of the Annual Inter-school cultural fest- ‘Confluence’ that brought together a diverse array of talents from various schools across West Delhi. The event was held on 10 th May, 2024, marking it as a day of cultural amalgamation and intellectual exchange.
The festivity commenced with the inaugural ceremony which was graced by renowned personalities from various fields, the Principal of the host school- Ms. Priya Arora, academic coordinators and academic facilitators across a multitude of participating institutions. At the onset, the special prayer was rendered to invoke blessings of the Almighty followed by
felicitation of all the judges and dignitaries present on the occasion. Shortly after the felicitation, the fest was declared open. The proceedings of the inaugural ceremony were interspersed with a host of entertaining programmes comprising an engaging dance based on the theme, ‘Heal The World’. Participants from over 15 schools participated Diverse opportunities were offered to the participants in the form of various competitions. The events that kept the participants hooked through the day and the school abuzz with activities were ‘SPLASH OF COLOURS’ , ‘THE BEST TALE WINS’ , ‘BRIDGING DIVERSITY’, ‘THE ‘GEOMETRY OF GRAC’E , ‘ROBOSPORTS’ , V’AARTALAP’ , ‘REEL ‘O’ MANIA’ , ‘CHASSE AU TRÉSOR’ LINGUISTIQU’E, ‘SCI Π JUGALBANDI’, ‘STAGECRAFT’, ‘SCI-FI FUTURES’ and T’HE CREATIVE CONSTRUCT’. The events were impactful and an assessment of the prolific mastery of the participants.
‘Embrace competition as a chance to showcase your skills, learn from others, and continuously improve. It’s not about being better than someone else, but about being better than you were yesterday’. With over 15 schools participating across West Delhi with nearly 300 participants, Confluence 2024 raised its bar a few notches and emerged as a portal for the enthusiastic participants to manifest their multitudinous talents. The hard work and dedicated effort of the Confluence team were commended by all.
