World Heritage Day Celebration
“Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.” – Mahatma Gandhi.
Preserving the above dictum in their hearts, the young Mangalites of the Middle wing celebrated World Heritage Day. Paying a humble tribute to the rich cultural heritage of our country, the students celebrated this day by designing creative posters on the theme ‘Conserve Our Heritage.’ The enthusiastic participation filled the students with a sense of pride towards our rich culture.
Added to the celebration was the visit to The Bharat Darshan Park, Punjabi Bagh, home to more than 22 monuments & temples of our country. Made with scrap & waste materials, this mini India gave an amazing glimpse of our tradition & heritage. The Heritage walk around the place itself was an exciting adventure and an engaging experience for the young learners to upgrade their knowledge about the productive recycling and reuse of metallic waste. It was a mesmerizing experience not only to the students but to the teachers as well. It motivated students to embark onto new learnings and innovations amongst them. Indeed, overall The Heritage Walk was a funfilled & enthralling expedition for all.
