Grandparents form each family’s strong foundation. Grandparents keep a family close at heart through their love and care. They are the founders of a loving legacy, greatest story-tellers and the keepers of traditions. Grandparents Day celebration gives us an opportunity to show our respect and gratitude towards them.

To honour the role of these adorable family members and to make them feel special, K.R.Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar celebrated Grandparents Day with great enthusiasm. The event started with a prayer for the grandparents to keep them blessed with good health. It was followed by a warm welcome in four languages. A talent hunt show was organised where the grandparents showcased their talent joyfully through dancing, singing, skit, etc. It was an opportunity for each one of them to relive their youth and share their priceless experiences with everyone. A musical game ‘Aao Khele Antakshari’ was played with the grandparents. They enjoyed singing old melodies of their era in different rounds of Antakshri .Some of the enthusiastic participants danced while singing the songs and added to the vibrant event. The grandparents participated with great zeal in the celebration.

The day will be etched in the memories of the grandparents forever. Their hearts were filled with loads of appreciation and heaps of blessings for the school, faculty and the management.
