SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY SENIOR

K R Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, hosted the ‘Scholar Badge Ceremony’ for the academic year 2023-2024 for classes IX, X and XI on 18th May, 2024. It was indeed heartwarming to see students being recognized for their unwavering resilience, steadfast perseverance, and commendable academic performance.
The event began with a special prayer, seeking blessings from the Almighty. The students welcomed the chief guest, CA Jagmohan Singh and a host of dignitaries in five different languages showcasing warmth and hospitality. The proceedings of the day were interspersed with various cultural presentations. The budding artists showcased a mesmerizing blend of Indian classical and western dance upholding the school motto: Engage, Learn and Innovate. Their performance was a testament to creativity and cultural fusion.
The felicitation of the meritorious students began with the top three achievers from class XI. The Science Stream Topper Charvi Bajaj received a cheque, certificate, badge, and trophy followed by the Commerce Stream Topper Saiyam Saluja. The Humanities Stream Topper Twishi Dogra followed next and received a cheque, trophy, certificate, and badge. Among the three top scholars of grade X were Krishiv Khetarpal who was awarded with a certificate, trophy, and cheque followed by Laksh Chopra securing the second rank and Saksham Gulati and Maulik Gupta, both following closely at rank three were also felicitated. Further to this, the scholars of class IX were felicitated and rewarded. The topper Ishaan Singhal was awarded with a cheque, badge, trophy and a certificate, followed by Saanvi Shridhar the second topper and Ryan Arora at rank three. Students who excelled in Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha conducted by the Directorate of Education on 10th December were also honoured in the ceremony. Furthermore, students who excelled in sports received awards, badges, and promising rewards. Their dedication and hard work were applauded.
Mrs. Priya Arora, the illustrious Principal applauded students and parents who demonstrated perseverance, commitment, and hard work. She encouraged young students to uphold progressive ideals and continue flying the K.R. Mangalam flag high. The event concluded with the audience joining in for the collective rendition of the patriotic song “Sare Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara.”
