Swiss Delegate Visit Indo Swiss Classroom Programme

Swiss-Delegate-Visit

Nobody can discover the world for somebody else. Only when we discover it for ourselves does it become common ground and a common bond and we cease to be alone.” With the aim to extend the Indo Swiss classroom project Miss Marie, the project coordinator visited K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri. She received a warm hearted welcome from the school. A special assembly was presented by students of class 11 to acquaint her with rich and distinct cultural heritage of India. The assembly projected the varied cultural differences yet the unity factor among the Indians. An art exhibition was also organised by the school to show the heterogeneous traditions of India and to give her the essence of our rich heritage. Her foremost objective of visiting our school was to analyse the presentations of the students. An interactive  session was organised in which the details of the classroom exchange,  upcoming projects and the itinerary for the Swiss delegate visit was shared. Ms. Gayatri and Ms. Shaveta, the project incharges gave a presentation describing the above points. The students gave a presentation describing their first activity which was a  village survey and their encounter with the villagers. Miss Marie was quite delighted and contented after the presentation and hoped to see the students in April.
